I've been using Windows Notes — those are sticky-note style notes you can drag around the desktop.
I decided to make the same in Norm CRM so I could use them across devices. Decided — done.
- A new item appeared in Tools — Stickers
- An on/off stickers icon appeared in the desktop header (you can press the N key — the effect is the same)
- At first I placed stickers directly over Norm CRM, then moved them into a more modal view. I couldn't both keep a sticker in sight and work normally at the same time
- Stickers can be dragged, resized, their content formatted, hidden and brought back into the viewport
- The "Stickers" section lets you view all stickers as a list
- There are no stickers for mobile. Where would you put them?
I also moved all chapters of The Normal Freelancer book into Norm CRM. I also asked a neural network to translate them into English. I wasn't satisfied with the translation, so I added a big bold note "Translated with AI" so no one gets disappointed.
Also:
- Added a "New requests" block to the dashboard
- Added a language and color theme switcher for client-facing project links
- Added the ability to delete tasks and meetings. Previously there was only archiving. I didn't want to deal with it — but in the end it became more convenient
